Samsung Galaxy S4 Will Have 5 Inch Screen Display
Samsung Galaxy S4 Will Have 5 Inch Screen Display
The iPhone 5 event has been and gone, and although Apple didnt really announce anything that hadnt already been leaked or speculated about beforehand, it was deemed to be a major success. The immediate depletion of the pre-order sales stock confirms that Apple has a commercial success at hand in the for of the iPhone 5, but now that the excitement is over, consumers need something else to get their teeth into and get excited about.
It looks like it could be Samsung who is stepping up to the plate to create the next-generation of industry buzz, with recent reports suggesting that Samsung is planning on announcing the new and improved Galaxy S4 device at the Mobile World Congress event that takes place annually in Barcelona. Samsung announced their current flagship device, the Galaxy S III, at this years Mobile World Congress, so it isnt beyond the realms of possibility that they will do the same next year.
If Samsung does take the opportunity to announce the S4 in Barcelona, then it is also being stated that consumers could expect an almost immediate release with the device hitting shelves in March 2013. It was recently made public that Samsung managed to shift 20 million Galaxy S III handsets with a projection of a further 10 million before the end of the year. If the S 4 is launched in March, then it seems a change in Samsungs annual release cycle, coming only nine months after the Galaxy S IIIs launch.
As you might expect from such early reports, there isnt a great deal of information known about the possible specifications of Samsungs new device, but it is being said that it will pack enough power to more than compete with Apples iPhone 5 and will give users the ability to connect globally to LTE networks, and is rumored to have a 5-inch screen. With the Galaxy S III handset being only three months old, the timing of such speculation seems a little planned, considering all of the industry attention seems to be entirely on Apple, but I for one will be eagerly watching this unfold to see if Samsung can tempt me over to Android with their next creation.
