Premiere event of Power Trip Fracking in the UK

Last night we launched our movie - Power Trip: Fracking in the UK (70mins) .

It was a full house and a tremendous atmosphere.  People packed into see what occurs beyond the few seconds glimpsed on the mainstream TV news. We followed campaign groups Lancashire Nanas and Reclaim the Power as they shut down the Fracking sites near Blackpool and Balcombe, Sussex by occupying trucks and blocking gates.



The film was Livestreamed too and film received much praise what was wonderful. We followed up with a discussion with campaigners after the film. This will be available online soon.

We explore the role of social media being used by Fracking companies and activists. We hear from energy experts, journalists and key politicians,
amongst the voices of local residents and councilors.

Power Trip takes you onto the frontlines of UK resistance in the battle to stop the controversial energy extraction process known as fracking.
